Tuticorin, November 21, 2015: With the mission of providing best opportunities to School Children to hone and develop their skills in sports and games, Sterlite Copper in association with Tuticorin District Aquatic Association (TDAA) is conducting ‘Sterlite Intra District Swimming Meet & Sterlite State Level Non Medallist Swimming Meet’ for school children between 21st & 22nd November 2015 at SDAT Swimming Pool, SDAT Stadium (Tharuvai Ground), Tuticorin.
The swimming meets were inaugurated by Mr. Pradeep Nair, Head – Engineering Services of Sterlite Copper on November 21, 2015 at SDAT Swimming Pool, SDAT Stadium (Tharuvai Ground), Tuticorin in the presence of Dr R Kailasam, Head – CSR & Chief Medical Officer of Sterlite Copper, Capt. Sonica Muraleedharan, Head HR of Sterlite Copper, Mr L Theerthose, District Sports & Youth Welfare Officer, Tuticorin, Mr T Velsankar, President – Tuticorin District Aquatic Association and Officials of Tamil Nadu State Aquatic Association & Tuticorin District Aquatic Association.
Totally 163 Children from 8 Schools are participating in Sterlite Intra District Swimming Meet and 204 Children from 38 Schools are taking part in Sterlite State Level Non Medallist Swimming Meet between 21st & 22nd November 2015 at SDAT Swimming Pool, SDAT Stadium (Tharuvai Ground), Tuticorin.
